Love People

But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].

2 Corinthians 5:18

Your goal as a christian is not to make people conform to what you think they should be. God did not give us the ministry of condemnation. Your goal is to love and see people the way God loves and sees them, just as they are. Always have the attitude of reproducing that God kind of love when connecting with other people.

When you love people for who they are and not what you want them to be – there’s no more disconnection when relating with them. God didn’t love us just because of our potential. Yes, He was ambitious for us but the Love was always there, no matter what. That same love is the love that we should have for everyone.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

As you grow and as they grow by the word, as intercession is made – the necessary changes will be made. You can’t force anyone to be different than who they are. Only the Word of God can change people. Our job is to love people, without stopping to question if they are worthy of our love – Because the answer is always yes. Everyone is worthy of love. Be like Jesus and value people for who they really are.

Yes, you can want good things for people, you can want the best for them but you can’t force your expectations on people.

So, the best thing to do is to Love people and share the Word that changed you with them. Because it’s about what God wants them to be, not what you want them to be. Loving others is an instructing from Jesus Himself (John 13:34). And if you truly love Him, loving others for who they are would not be a challenger. Let people know that they’re loved – always.
